Connections

Connections can be made via ODBC or ADO. All the features of QiD work equally across all supported databases, except in a small number of cases where a database does not itself provide some facility.

The queries in a given project operate on the specified project database connection by default. QiD also allows queries to be issued against different database connections – even different DBMSs – in the one project or job. Run some queries on Oracle, switch to DB2, export the results to Access, switch to Access and produce the final results.
